Scott and Vanessa Johnson have been the proud owners of Willy Wagtails Kindergarten since September 2012. Vanessa is the Director of the service with over 26 years of knowledge, experience and expertise in the Early Childhood Education sector. Scott, who is not only part owner but also a passionate educator who has brought a wealth of experience not only in early childhood but the community services sector as well. Joanne McMahon, who is our office manager, makes up the administration team. Joanne is keen to assist families in anyway when enrolling and attending the service.

Scott and Vanessa were both born and raised in the Clarence Valley and have a vision for early childhood education that not only is accessible but affordable. Providing a service that is family orientated as well as innovative and educational for the children in their care.

Bringing a fresh new approach, Willy Wagtails Kindergarten has been through a design transformation both indoors and out. We provide large naturally shaded play areas and environments that encompass elements of Yamba encouraging exploration and investigation.

Their philosophy is ‘Explore, Discover, and Grow’ and strive to achieve the best in all children and educators that are a part of the Willy Wagtails Family.Every one of our educators is a trained professional with a deep passion for education. Many of our educators have specialized training in fine arts such as music, art and theater.
